James H. Brooks Field House

The James H. Brooks Field House is currently under construction and is expected to open in the fall of 2012. The Brooks Field House will be a two-story, 18,237-square-foot facility that provides classroom, locker room and meeting space for the E&H athletics program. Named in honor a former member of the E&H Board of Visitors, the field house represents the second stage of the two-stage development of the Fred Selfe Stadium.

Once completed, the facility will use a geothermal field for its heating and cooling and is expected to acquire LEED Silver certification from the U.S. Green Building Council. The architectural firm of Thompson & Litton designed the facility. Burwil Construction is the general contractor.
