ETSU MSW Info Session
The East Tennessee State University Department of Social Work will outline its unique Part-Time Two-Year Advanced Standing Master of Social Work Program in an information session in Kingsport on Saturday, December 6.
The free public session will take place from 10-11:30 a.m. at ETSU at Kingsport Downtown, 300 Clinchfield St., Suite 460 (inside the Food City complex).
“Individuals with the bachelor of social work degree who are interested in part-time graduate study will have the opportunity to speak with faculty about this two-year program, which is scheduled to begin in the summer of 2015,” said Dr. Kelly Reath, associate professor and director of the Master of Social Work Program in the ETSU Department of Social Work.
The information session will cover the cohort model, in which a group of students enter and progress through an academic program together, as well as admissions requirements and the curriculum.
Registration is requested but not required. Light refreshments will be served.
