The project included a major three-story addition to the facility which increased the square footage of the building by 19,515 for a total of 32,348. The addition included renovations to the historic portion of the building and a new digital art lab, a large printmaking/design studio, a large drawing/painting studio equipped with natural skylights, black & white photography dark room for film-based photography, and numerous seminar and classrooms, as well as faculty offices. The student galleries are located in the historic portion of the building.
