Crime in Virginia - These crime statistics, part of the Uniform Crime Report system, present data on all types of crime, often broken down to the county level. Information in some categories goes back to 1995.
General Assembly - Users will find information on the legislative process in Virginia, and full text, summaries and status history of bills and resolutions.
Library of Virginia - This site gives you information about the Library of Virginia and its collections of books, state and federal documents and pamphlets. It lets the user access the online catalog, as well as search some of its special collections. The site also gives you information on what services the Library of Virginia offers, exhibits on display and genealogical resources available.

Virginia Cities, Counties and Communities on the Internet - A map of Virginia, divided into regions, lets the user click on a region (SWVA, for example) and gives the user links to counties and towns, which in turn present historical, tourism and business information.

Virginia General Assembly Legislative Information System - Searchable and browsable database of Virginia state bills and resolutions.

Virginia Statistical Atlas - This University of Virginia site lets you access over 60 state maps. The maps present information on population, income, poverty, housing and residency. The statistics are drawn from the 1990 census.
