A good starting point would be our reference collection, both in print and online. The print reference section is on the main floor of Kelly Library and history reference works are primarily shelved in the Ds (Old World History), Es (General American History), and Fs (Local American History and Latin American History).

Kelly Library has many resources available to students researching, or who simply have an interest in, art. A good place to start is the Dictionary of Art (REF N31 .D5 1996) published by Grove. Written by 6,700 experts from around the world, the Dictionary of Art has information on over 4,500 art related topics.

National Library Week was established in 1958 by the American Library Association (ALA) “to celebrate the contributions of our nation’s libraries and librarians and to promote library use and support”. The theme for this year is “Libraries Transform”.
