Emory Abroad Africa - Mass Communications Media & Journalistic Practice in Zambia

On campus during the spring semester, students study contemporary Zambian media and journalistic practice. In May, they travel to Zambia where they work with local media professionals in radio, TV, and print media. Zambia’s motto is The Real Africa. Located in the heart of southern Africa, Zambia is known for its hospitality, friendly people, and rich culture. The program in Zambia offers students a complete package of work and fun. While they gain invaluable professional media experience, they also visit cultural and historical sites including Lusaka Museum, Kasisi Orphanage, the Caminuka Game Reserve, and spectacular Victoria Falls.
