Emory & Henry College offers numerous scholarships to students who wish to study abroad. Each of the three scholarships offered carries a different monetary value up to $3,000. Qualifications for each ranges from a first generation student Appalachian student to a person of any major who shows an interest in studying art.
These awards of up to $3,000, funded by the IFSA Foundation, will ease expenses such as airfare, passport, and visa fees during semester and year-long study abroad. The scholarship is available to first-generation college students from the Appalachian region, and preference is given to those with demonstrated financial need. Multiple awards are available each semester.
The purpose of this $3000 scholarship is to provide help for study during the coming summer at an English or Scottish University and for travel in Great Britain; to promote understanding, goodwill, and peaceful cooperation among all people of the world who speak English.
The Royce L. B. Morris Study Abroad Scholarship is designed to ease the cost of the EA course Art 322- Italian Art. The scholarship is up $1,000, and may be awarded to more than one student. Awards will be directly applied toward the winning student’s trip balance for Art 233- Italian Art course.
