Admissions to the graduate programs at Emory & Henry College—except for the Doctor of Physical Thereapy program—are handled by the Graduate Admissions Committee, consisting of the Registrar, the Assistant Director of Transfer and Graduate Admissions, and faculty members from respective programs. The Committee meets in mid-December, mid-May, and mid-August of each year. Interested applicants should have completed application packets to the Graduate Admissions Office by December 1, May 1, or August 1 depending on the desired program entry date.

All applicants—except DPT program applicants—are required to submit the following materials:

  1. A completed application for graduate admission. Students applying to the five-year or fast track program should use this application.

  2. Official transcripts from all colleges previously attended. (Transcript Request Form)
    • Students currently enrolled at Emory & Henry must formally request your transcripts be sent to the Office of Graduate Admissions.

  3. Three professional recommendations from individuals familiar with your work. (Recommendation Forms).

  4. Essay: prompt can be found on the application.

  5. Official GRE Scores

The Admissions Committee may request other data as deemed appropriate. Specific admissions requirements can be found on a program's webpage.
