Orientation Leader Information
What is an Orientation Leader?
Come join us for an information session to learn more about being an Orientation Leader at Emory & Henry. Have your questions answered and learn firsthand from previous OLs about the many benefits that come from volunteering as an Orientation Leader. Info sessions will be held February 5th and 12th, 2013, in Humphreys (Van Dyke) at 5:00 pm. (You do not have to attend to apply).
Deadline to submit application, February 18.
Dates of 2013 Orientation: May 24, June 22, July 20, August 20 - 26.
Orientation Leader Position ·
Orientation Leaders are enthusiastic and positive role models, supporting the Emory & Henry motto, "Increase in Excellence". OLs are some of the most significant contacts that new students make when attending orientation programs. New student orientation is an intentional process of helping students new to E&H make the transition to their new academic and cultural community. Orientation Leaders are key to this process by connecting with and guiding new students through orientation events and into the first semester.

Fall Check-In
Student Chair Positions
The Student Chair and Assistant Chair positions are paid positions that are integral to the implementation and support of orientation programming. The positions report directly to the Coordinator of Orientation Programs and work closely with other E&H staff to create programs and events that welcome and integrate new students into the E&H community. Chairs will be employed May 13 through August 26, 2013.
