Applying for Financial Aid

The mission of the Office of Financial Aid is to help you develop a financial plan for meeting your share of the investment you make in an Emory & Henry College education. On average, the College distributes more than $12 million in financial aid each year to qualified students -- in fact, most students receive some form of financial assistance from the College. At the same time, the College expects families and students themselves to have a stake in the overall cost of an Emory & Henry degree. The specific amount of merit-based scholarships, E&H need-based grants, state and federal grants, and student/parent loans depends upon your specific academic and financial profile.

These pages provide an overview for filing the FAFSA, calculating family contributions, the academic requirements for maintaining federal financial aid and the necessary steps students should take upon finishing their education at Emory & Henry College.
