Award Notice

A student's award notice (the amount of federal financial aid students receive) is based on the cost of attendance less the family's expected contribution. The financial office prepares the award based on federal, state and institutional awarding policies and may include scholarships, grants and any eligibility for federal work study positions or student or parent loans.

Based on your cost of attendance (COA) less your expected family contribution (EFC), we determine your federal need figure. An Award Letter is prepared based on federal, state and institutional awarding policies which will include scholarships, grants , federal work study, student and parent loans.

Award Letters will be sent our beginning in March of each year. If selected for verification, a verification worksheet will be included.
