Monday, July 26 – Saturday, July 31 – Virginia Private College Week

Emory & Henry College welcomes students from the Classes of 2011 and 2012 to our outstanding institution for the annual celebration surrounding Virginia Private College Week.

Organized by the 25 members of the Council of Independent Colleges in Virginia (CICV), Virginia Private College Week gives students a chance to visit multiple institutions across the Commonwealth in an effort to raise awareness about the many advantages surrounding private education.

Students will have the opportunity to visit any of the 25 colleges for information sessions and campus tours at 9 a.m. and 2 p.m. (Monday through Friday), with specific institutions also holding a 9 a.m. Saturday session. NOTE: E&H will hold the aforementioned 9 a.m. Saturday session on July 31, along with 9 a.m. and 2 p.m. sessions on July 26-30 as well.

If you visit three or more participating colleges during Virginia Private College Week, three application fee waivers can be used at any CICV member college. More information on Virginia Private College Week can be found at www.cicv.org.

Saturday, Sept. 25 – General Visit Day #1

Representatives from Admissions and Financial Aid will provide information about applying for admission, scholarship opportunities and financial aid. Personalized campus tours will also be given by top-notch students from Emory & Henry’s Blue & Gold Society. Breakfast and lunch will be provided.

After lunch, join us at Fullerton Field for ODAC football (vs. Methodist, 1 p.m.) and ODAC men’s soccer (vs. Eastern Mennonite, 7 p.m.). Admission is free.

Monday, Oct. 11 – General Visit Day #2

Representatives from Admissions and Financial Aid will provide information about applying for admission, scholarship opportunities and financial aid. Personalized campus tours will also be given by top-notch students from Emory & Henry’s Blue & Gold Society.

As part of this event, we will hold two different half-day sessions to accommodate respective schedules. Sessions will begin at 9 a.m. and 1 p.m., respectively. Please indicate which session you will be attending on the subsequent registration link.

Saturday, Oct. 23 – General Visit Day #3

Representatives from Admissions and Financial Aid will provide information about applying for admission, scholarship opportunities and financial aid. Personalized campus tours will also be given by top-notch students from Emory & Henry’s Blue & Gold Society. Breakfast and lunch will be provided.

After lunch, join us at the King Center for ODAC volleyball (vs. Bridgewater, 3 p.m.) or at Fullerton Field for ODAC football (vs. Catholic, 1 p.m.), ODAC women’s soccer (vs. Sweet Briar, 5:30 p.m.) and ODAC men’s soccer (vs. Hampden-Sydney, 7:30 p.m.). Admission is free.

Tuesday, Nov. 2 – General Visit Day #4 (All tours begin on the hour, starting at 9 a.m.)

Want to get in that final college visit before the end of Early Application season? Join us for General Visit Day #4, where we offer convenient campus tour times all day on Tuesday, Nov. 2nd!

Campus tours are offered at 9 a.m., 10 a.m., 11 a.m., noon, 1 p.m., 2 p.m. and 3 p.m. You’ll be able to meet individually with admission counselors and learn about our “hand crafted” admissions and financial aid process.

Preview your future home with a special day full of unique activities and events designed to make college-level transition simple and fun!

Whether you’ve decided on E&H or still yet undecided, this day promises to give all accepted students and families answers to numerous questions surrounding campus life.

First-time guests to E&H will also have the chance to take part in personalized campus tours given by top-notch students from Emory & Henry’s Blue & Gold Society.
