I work in the Department of Languages where I teach Spanish. Before coming to this university, I studied at the University of Western Ontario. I am interested in the Languages in Contact area focused on the Acquisition of Spanish as a Second Language and Early Bilingualism. My research concentrates in the Acquisition of Spanish by Nahuatl speakers, an indigenous language spoken in Mexico.
Research: I am currenting working on two papers: “La duplicación del clítico acusativo “lo” en niños bilingües Náhuatl-Español” and “Acquisition of agreement in Spanish by Nahuatl Speakers.”
