Emory & Henry College’s archivist, Robert Vejnar, has been awarded a Professional Development Opportunity mini-grant from the Appalachian College Association. The grant helped pay for Vejnar’s attendance at the Mid-Atlantic Regional Archives Conference in Roanoke in early October. The purpose of these awards is to provide funding to librarians and library staff to pursue short-term, professional development activities and enhance professional pursuits that otherwise would not be possible.
