E&H Goes to Ireland

In November, 19 E&H alumni, faculty, and staff headed to Ireland to tour the country and meet E&H students studying in Dublin.

Three E&H students have spent the fall semester studying at Dublin City University, and in November, a group of E&H alumni, faculty, and staff members traveled to Ireland to visit them, get a sense of their work, and tour the country.

In addition to taking classes at DCU, students are also doing community service work at a variety of agencies, and the E&H group also got to learn about the kind of work they've been doing. Service sites include an after school program, a sports enrichment program, and a job placement agency.

Touring sites included Glendalough, Wicklow, Howth, Newgrange, and Dublin attractions like St. Patrick's Cathedral and the Book of Kells at Trinity College. And, of course, there were pubs...lots and lots of pubs.
