Greg Lowe (left, E&H ’75) got together with his E&H college roommate recently. That may not be a big deal to some old roomies…but Greg hadn’t seen David Cox since 1972.
David had a low number during the draft, and ended up serving in the US Navy. After the Navy, he was in the Coast Guard reserve for many years working as a medical officer. He recently retired from the Coast Guard reserve, but is still a physician’s assistant in Palatka, FL.
Greg finished at Emory & Henry and went on to a full career as a high school teacher and coach. He coached baseball and football and taught senior English. He has a particular interest in the writings of John Milton – especially Paradise Lost – which led to several summer National Endowment for the Humanities Seminars focusing on that literary period.
