Park Yourself! With Dr. Jack Roper

Virginia Historical Society — 428 North Blvd, Richmond, VA 23220

Dec. 6: Join us at the Virginia Historical Society (VHS) in Richmond for a captivating history lecture from Dr. Jack Roper, E&H History Professor (retired). Dr. Roper is known for his gentle humor and great story-telling abilities, and this is sure to be a great event. We'll gather at the Virginia Historical Society for his lecture, enjoy a light lunch together, and still have time to take in the VHS museum and the Virginia Museum of Fine Arts next door.

Our alumna, Paige Newman (E&H '91) is an archivist at the VHS and is preparing something special for us to view after Dr. Roper's lecture!

Additionally, if you'd like to visit the Virginia Museum of Fine Arts, which is immediately next door to the VHS, you can take in a breathtaking, once-in-a-lifetime exhibit from the Forbidden City!  Check out the exhibit.

REGISTER BY Dec. 4. See you there!
