June 8 Golf Tournament to Benefit E&H Athletics

Emory & Henry College invites the public to participate in a June 8 golf tournament in support of the College’s athletic programs.

The tournament, an annual event, supports the E&H Athletic Department and its programs, and honors loyal contributors to the I-HEY (I Help Every Year) fund. It will be held at the Glenrochie Country Club in Abingdon, Va.

Proceeds from the tournament will help support the purchase of uniforms and equipment and will provide resources for transportation and facility improvements.

Tournament play will consist of four-person teams and begins with a shotgun start at 1 p.m. The tournament is limited to 30 teams.

The entry fee for each team is $400 or $100 for individuals and includes golf fees, cart , and lunch. Prizes will be awarded for first and second place along with several raffles.

In addition to competing in the tournament, participants may also sponsor the tournament. Sponsorship levels include a hole sponsorship at $100 and a corporate sponsorship at $800 that includes registration and dinner for a team of four. Sponsoring individuals or organizations will be given signage at a tee box or green. Corporate sponsors also may enter their own team in the tournament.
