On September 18, the cast of the upcoming E&H Theatre Department production of "I Love You, You're Perfect, Now Change" worked with Broadway music director Jack Lee as they explored performance techniques to apply to upcoming shows.

Lee attended a rehearsal for the musical and worked with the cast members on several of the musical numbers from the show.

In addition, students Brandon Bentley, Suzie Eskelund and Kalin Honaker worked one-on-one with Lee during a vocal master-class.

“In this class, the students worked on truthfully conveying the vocal line and storyline of musical theater songs,” said E&H theatre professor Christianne Roll.

Lee has served as musical director for 34 Broadway shows and is currently a faculty member in the drama department of New York University's Tisch School of the Arts.

The E&H production of "I Love You, You're Perfect, Now Change," will open in the Studio Theatre Oct. 8 -10 beginning at 7:30 p.m. and on Oct. 11 at 3 p.m. Tickets are available by contacting the Arts Depot.
