Emory & Henry College's assistant dean of students has received the 2011 Service Excellence Award from the Virginia Association of College and University Housing Officers.
Todd Clark has served the College for nearly four years as a member of the Student Affairs staff. Prior to coming to Emory & Henry, Clark served at several other universities, including Union College, Louisiana State University, Virginia Tech and Kansas State University.
Clark, who was nominated by his staff, was honored for his hard work and leadership.
“I love this community and it is a family to me,” Clark said. “Without such a great team of people to work with and wonderful students to serve, none of this would be possible. I truly enjoy coming to work every day, and, outside of work, this place really supports my family. It’s a joy to see Emory & Henry affect all aspects of my life.”
