Blevins Receives Bronze Star

Army Lt. Col. Joseph "Jack" Blevins(E&H Class of 1977) was recently awarded the Bronze Star in support of Operation Enduring Freedom while serving as site leader conducting joint regional support activity in Sharana, Afghanistan.

Blevins's tireless efforts were directly responsible for meeting all requirements to improve warfighter survivability and saving the lives of countless coalition and US service members.

Blevins is a 1969 graduate of Chilhowie High School.
