Christianne Roll is directing the E&H Theatre Department's performance of "Agnes of God" on Feb. 23 - 27.

She has only been at Emory & Henry for two years, but already Christianne Roll is having a large impact on the music and theater education at Emory & Henry College.

Roll has gained respect from her students through her unique teaching style that asks students how and what they want to learn. It is a method of student-focused learning that she picked up while obtaining her master’s degree from the Teachers College (TC) - Columbia University.

In a recent interview for a TC blog, Roll talks about what inspired her to be involved in musical theater and how she has found the perfect fit at Emory & Henry.

“This is a small, liberal arts school with a tremendously nurturing quality,” Roll said

Here is a sampling of Christianne Roll's performance of I Got Lost in His Arms (Irving Berlin) and Taylor the Latte Boy (Zina Goldrich and Marcy Heisler).
