Brooks Field House Construction Project Completed

Construction on the James H. Brooks Field House, a two-story, 18,237 square-foot facility, was completed in 2012. The new facility provides classroom, locker room and meeting space for the E&H athletics program.  Named in honor a former member of the E&H Board of Visitors, the field house represents the second stage of the two-stage development of the Fred Selfe Stadium.

The new field house utilizes a geothermal field for its heating and cooling and is expected to acquire LEED Silver certification from the US Green Building Council. The architectural firm of Thompson & Litton designed the facility. Burwil Construction is the general contractor.
