Brent Treash of Emory & Henry College has been selected as one of the recipients of the 40 Under Forty award presented by the Business Journal of the Tri-Cities, Tenn./Va.
40 Under Forty nominees are judged on their business success and their achievements as an active member of the community.
Treash currently serves as the assistant director for media relations at Emory & Henry College. In his three years with the college, Treash has been honored with multiple awards from the Tri-Cities Public Relations Society of America for his work in video promotions. This past spring, Treash was awarded a silver Addy award from the Southwest Virginia chapter of the American Advertising Foundation for his 30-second commercial, which was aired during local coverage of the Olympics, promoting Emory & Henry student-athletes.
In addition, Treash currently serves as the co-chair of the music committee for the Bristol Rhythm & Roots Reunion music festival. The annual festival draws close to 50,000 people and is consistently ranked as one of the top music festivals in the southeast.
The Business Journal of Tri-Cities Tennessee/Virginia will honor recipients Friday, Oct. 4 at the 20th annual 40 Under Forty awards ceremony.
In addition to being recognized at the ceremony, honorees will be featured in the December issue of The Business Journal of Tri-Cities Tennessee/Virginia.
