Saturday, April 16, 1:00pm
Emory & Henry College has many outstanding student leaders who serve in positions through student organizations, athletics, Greek Life, Residence Life, student employment opportunities, and many more. To assist in further developing the leadership skills of our active student leaders, the Office of Student Life will be hosting the first on-campus Student Activities Leadership Conference on Saturday, April 16. The theme of the conference is Legacy & Leadership – Making Footprints, Leaving Tracks.
The keynote speaker for the 2011 conference is Dr. John Buck, Associate Dean of Students and Director of Housing and Residential Life at Webster University in St. Louis, MO, who not only coordinates WebsterLEADS, the University’s leadership development program, but also consults for non-profit and private sector organizations on the topic of leadership.
To register for the 2011 conference, to receive a schedule for the day, or for questions, students are asked to contact Josh Griffith at jgriffith@ehc.edu. Registration is free and open to all Emory & Henry College students.
