Emory Abroad Course Opportunities for 2012-2013

The Office of International Education announces the following Emory Abroad courses for Spring 2013: 

  • BIO 340: Tropical Biology (Costa Rica)
  • EDUC 350: Comparative Education in Brazil (Brazil)
  • ENVS 350- Environment and Sustainability in Belize (Belize)
  • ETLA 240: The Emory Odyssey (Greece), PHED 311: Wide World of Sport (France & Switzerland).

These courses will meet during the Spring 2013 semester, with the ten to fourteen day travel component scheduled for May 2013.  Please note that these courses involve an additional fee of approximately $4,000. This fee includes: round trip air-fare to specific country; all lodging and accommodations; all ground transportation while abroad; admission fees to all attractions; international medical insurance; and most meals.

Application forms must be signed by the instructor of record for the course and turned into the Office of International Education (MS 120) by November 1, 2012. Please contact the Office of International Education (Dr. Celeste Gaia, cgaia@ehc.edu or the specific instructor with any questions.
