Emory & Henry Prepares for Sept. 19th Female Sports Day

Emory & Henry College will host the 14th annual All Sports Day for Girls Sunday, Sept. 19th in the King Athletic Center from 1 p.m. to 5 p.m.

The event is free and open to the public for girls in elementary and middle school. Sessions with top E&H athletes will include basketball, soccer, tennis, softball and volleyball.

Last year’s event brought nearly 100 elementary and middle school students from southwest Virginia and northeast Tennessee to the College.

“By all accounts, it is a fun day for all,” event organizer and E&H faculty member Joy Scruggs said.
