Habitat Project Set To Build Abingdon Home in October

News

Central Presbyterian Church, Green Spring Presbyterian Church, Sinking Spring Presbyterian Church and Woodland Hills Christian Church are joining Washington County Habitat for Humanity to create a new home in the month of October.

This will be a "blitz build," meaning the home will be completed in less than a month from start to finish. Habitat committee members laid out plans to build the home beginning Oct. 8, on a lot sandwiched between Wiley Road and Leonard Street, just north of West Main and east of Hwy. 58.

The home is scheduled for completion on Oct. 27, in time for a Nov. 4 dedication.
