Based on the international best-selling novel by Yann Martel, this magical adventure story centers on Pi Patel, who, after a ship wreck, finds himself adrift in the Pacific Ocean on a 26-foot lifeboat with a zebra, a hyena, an orangutan and a 450-pound Bengal tiger named Richard Parker, all fighting for survival. Director Ang Lee has raised the level of artistic use of 3-D technology and special effects in this film.
Arts Array films are free of charge to E&H students and employees. Students must present their ticket stubs to the CSA office to receive Lyceum credit. A surcharge for 3-D movies may apply.
