Literary Festival Featuring Poet Maurice Manning

Maurice Manning of Kentucky is the author of four books of poems, the first of which, Lawrence Booth’s Book of Visions, won the Yale Series of Younger Poets Award in 2000. Since then he has also published A Companion to Owls (2004), Bucolics (2007), and The Common Man (2010), a finalist for the Pulitzer Prize. The 31st Literary Festival will include a reading by Manning, three papers about his work, and a public interview with him.
