After graduating from Emory & Henry College in 1977 with double major in business economics and sociology, Carter Wampler spent a career as a furniture manufacturer's representative. But now he represents something he thinks is more comforting than an adjustable recliner.

As reporter Rick Rousos from The Ledger newspaper tells you, Wampler has spent the past three years in and out of prisons, but not as an inmate.
