Panel Discussion: Connect to Local Foods: Mind, Body and Spirit

BOV Lounge Tuesday, September 13, 7:00pm

The Appalachian Center for Community Service and the Emory & Henry Garden will host a panel discussion about local foods Tuesday, Sept. 13 at 7 p.m. in the BOV Lounge.

Panelists participating in the discussion include former teacher and local activist, Laurel Flaccavento; Appalachian Sustainable Development's Deni Peterson; Glade Spring Farmer's Market Regular Lynn Price; and local Harvest Table farmer Matt Sanders.

Free, local food will be provided by Sodexo. The event is co-sponsored by The Appalachian Center for Community Service and the Emory & Henry Garden.
