Rebecca Madill, M.S., E&H Class of 2007, is a Ph.D. candidate in human development and family studies at Pennsylvania State University and a predoctoral fellow with the Institute of Education Sciences. She presents findings from the Classroom Peer Ecologies Project, an ongoing study of peer-to-peer and teacher-student relationship quality in elementary school classrooms. She focuses on teaching strategies that foster students’ sense of community and address behavior problems.
