Spring Student-Athlete Day

The Emory & Henry College Admissions Office will hold its  inaugural Spring Student-Athlete Day Saturday, Mar. 26. Registration is scheduled from 8-9 a.m. inside the College’s King Center.

Our event will begin promptly at 9 a.m. with remarks from Dr. Rosalind Reichard, President, along with Myra Sims, Director of Athletics, and Joshua Floyd, Director of Admissions.

Additionally, coaches representing the College’s 13 NCAA Division III programs (baseball, football, men’s and women’s basketball, men’s and women’s cross country, men’s and women’s soccer, men’s and women’s tennis, softball, volleyball and women’s swimming) will be present, while student-athletes from these respective sports will participate in a Q&A session about their experiences. Individual meetings with coaches and student-athletes and campus tours will also be held.

This event is open to accepted student-athletes and also prospective senior student-athletes who have not yet completed the admissions process, along with prospective junior student-athletes.

A light breakfast, along with lunch, will be provided as part of the event. Additionally, admissions counselors will be presenting sessions on the overall review process, along with next steps for securing enrollment.

There will also be afternoon Old Dominion Athletic Conference contests featuring several of the College’s men’s and women’s varsity squads.

-    Noon – Baseball (double-header) vs. Randolph-Macon
-    1 p.m. – Softball (double-header) vs. Eastern Mennonite
-    1 p.m. – Men’s and Women’s Tennis vs. Randolph
