Staley Lecture: Mark or John, Which Gospel Do We Trust?

Can a careful comparison of the Gospels give new insight into these old, familiar writings? After 2000 years, does Christ still meet us as the unexpected one? Prepare to be surprised by the different images of Jesus in the Gospels of John and Mark.

The keynote speaker, Dr. Stephen Harris, will be speaking on Sunday, Oct. 21 at 8:15 p.m. in the Board of Visitors Lounge located inside the Van Dyke Center on the campus of Emory & Henry.

Harris a professor emeritus of humanities and religious studies at California State University and author of numerous books.
