Ten Years Later: Reflections of 9-11

The Emory & Henry College Community will be observing the tenth anniversary of 9-11 on Sun., Sept. 11 in the following ways:

Prayer & Reflection - 8:30 - 9:15 a.m.
The chapel will be open for prayer and reflection.  The carillon will ring at the times that the two towers of the world trade center were hit on September 11, 2001.

Worship at Emory United Methodist Church - 9:30 a.m.
Worship at Emory United Methodist (in Memorial Chapel) will include a time of remembrance of the events of 9-11.

Peace in a Broken World - 9 p.m.
A program entitled  "Peace in a Broken World" will be presented in the Alumni Plaza. Everyone is invited to this program that will explore the impact of a national tragedy that changed our lives forever. (Rain Location - Memorial Chapel)
