Emory & Henry “shutterwasps” are encouraged to photograph scenes from this year’s Homecoming and submit them to a contest, the top prize for which is an Apple iPad.

Contest judges will be looking for photos that portray the people and spirit of Emory & Henry College. During Homecoming and spirit week, photographers are encouraged to capture the lively spirit and people of Emory & Henry and send the photos by email to photo@ehc.edu.

Each entrant is limited to five photos. Contest entries will be accepted until Oct. 24, 2012. On Oct. 26, judges will upload the five top photos to Facebook, where fans of the E&H Facebook page will choose the winner! Contest voting will end Oct. 30, and winners will be announced on Oct. 31.

Entering is as easy as 1—2—3!
Step 1: Visit Emory & Henry during Homecoming week and snap some photos. Bonus: visit the E&H events calendar to view Homecoming events this week that you’d like to attend.

Step 2: Email your best 5 photos to photo@ehc.edu. View all uploaded photos at www.ehc.edu/promos/photos. Share your photos with all your friends via Facebook, Twitter, LinkedIn, or any other social media platform you may use.

Step 3: Vote! Visit the E&H Facebook page to cast your vote for the best photos (encourage your friends to vote). The winner will be determined by who has the highest amount of votes on Facebook.

Prizes include: First place, iPad; second place, $50 iTunes gift card; third place, $25 iTunes gift card; fourth place, $15 gift certificate for the campus bookstore; fifth place, $10 gift certificate to the campus bookstore.

Rules & Regulations: Photos displaying nudity or profanity will be eliminated. Photos that emphasize the school brand through use of color or logos are encouraged.
