Commencement ceremonies at Emory & Henry College have been moved indoors due to predicted inclement weather. The ceremony will begin at 10 a.m. on Saturday, May 10 in the King Center Gymnasium.
Potential thunderstorms and heavy rain have prompted college officials to make the decision to move the event inside, rather than on the lawn of the Memorial Chapel as previously planned.
Due to limited seating in the King Center, guests are required to have a ticket to attend the event at the rain location. Each graduating student has been allotted five tickets for the event.
Those individuals unable to watch the event in the King Center are invited to watch a live stream on campus at either Memorial Chapel or Wiley Hall Auditorium. The live stream can be accessed on your smartphone or desktop computer by visiting ehc.edu/live.
