Van Dyke Center Lawn at Duck Pond (Rain Location: King Center) — 12231 Collins Drive

The Office of International Education at Emory & Henry College will kick-off its annual celebration of International Month on Saturday, Aug. 29 with a Global Street Fair hosted on the lawn adjacent to the college’s Duck Pond starting at 4 p.m.

Live music will be provided by the Afro-Caribbean band Orquesta Tropikiimba from 5-7 p.m. International cuisine will be served at the event, and local vendors will have goods for sale that have an international focus. The public is invited to attend free of charge.

“We’ve found through student experiences that international programs enrich our students lives as they become engaged with other cultures, belief systems, languages and customs,” said Lauren Trotman, assistant director of international education.
