To kick-off Emory & Henry College’s MLK Day 2015 Celebration, the Association for Religious Diversity is partnering with the MLK planning team to present a program that will celebrate efforts to promote peace in our world, both religious and secular.

The program will feature the E&H Concert Choir performing music from a variety of traditions, the explanations of symbols of peace, and the beliefs related to peace from many perspectives – both religious and secular. AhnnaLise and Garth Stevens-Jennings will share their understanding of God’s call for justice and peace for every person, no matter race, gender, religious beliefs, or sexual orientation.

AhnnaLise Stevens-Jennings (E&H ’12) and Garth Stevens-Jennings (E&H ’13) will be the featured speakers of the evening. They are both candidates for a Masters of Divinity at Wesley Theological Seminary.
