The Emory & Henry Summer Adventure Program encompasses three one-week adventures for teens to choose from. Attend one or more weeks, covering Rafting & Paddling, Hiking & Backpacking, Rock Climbing & Bouldering — only $750 per week! The camps run consecutively from June 11, 2017 through July 1, 2017. During that time, students will explore the wild and wonderful Blue Ridge Mountains of the Southeast, predominantly in the southwestern Virginia(SWVA) area. Ultimately, you will experience the freedom and wonder of the beautiful and ancient Appalachian Mountains — all while building backcountry expertise, self-confidence, and new friendships.
What are you waiting for!
What are parents saying about the program?
This experience for Preston turned out to be much more than we all ever dreamed it could be. Thank you all for making this possible for him… We loved the GPS tracking site updates and the FBpage. We were able to keep our family and friends updated on Preston's progress through the entire trip! There isn't a day that goes by, since the trip, that he doesn't bring up an experience from it, in some way or another. This is his niche in life, I'm sure. He has also started using what he has learned and begun taking his little brother, TJ on mini bike rides and hiking trips.
Jim, let us know if there is anything we can ever do to repay you for your kindness, we can't thank you enough.
