The Student Adancement Council is composed of students who enjoy developing, planning, and implementing creative and fun initiatives to help increase awareness about the impact of giving back to Emory & Henry College.

Mission
The Student Advancement Council of Emory & Henry College strives to strengthen the bond among Emory & Henry students by demonstrating the importance of philanthropy and fosters and supports a commitment for the strategic goals and mission of the College.

How to Get Started
Simply fill out the Student Advancement Council application online or download and complete the application and bring it by the Office of Institutional Advancement (J. Stewart French House) adjacent to Admissions. Don’t forget to include two references with your application. Once you’re application is received, you’ll be contacted by a staff member regarding getting started with the SAC.

Requirements
The commitment to serve on the Student Advancement Council includes at least, but not limited to, one meeting per month, usually held on Tuesday evenings. Members are asked to help coordinate, publicize and participate in events and programs sponsored by the Office of Institutional Advancement each semester. Furthermore, members must be committed to engaging classmates about the importance of philanthropy to Emory & Henry College. Members must obtain at least a 3.0 grade-point average to be involved with the Council.
