The Young Alumni Council is open to anyone who has graduated within the last 15 years.

Mission
The Young Alumni Council of Emory & Henry College strives to strengthen the bond with recent Emory & Henry graduates and fosters and supports a commitment for the strategic goals and mission of the College.

Major Goals

  • To increase young alumni engagement and support by encouraging graduates to stay connected to the College
  • To give a voice to young alumni concerns and ideas
  • To help promote and support current Emory & Henry programs and initiatives by participating in on-campus and off-campus activities and events

How to Get Started
Fill out the Young Alumni Council (YAC) application online, or download and complete the application and mail it to: Emory & Henry College, Office of Institutional Advancement, PO Box 950, Emory, VA 24327. Once your application is received, you’ll be contacted by a staff member regarding getting started with the YAC.

Requirements
The commitment to serve on the Young Alumni Council includes at least four meetings per year, two in the fall and two in the spring, usually held on Saturday mornings or at times that are convenient for the group. Members are asked to complete a series of action items each year, which are to be discussed during the spring session and implemented during the fall session. Members should financially support the College with an annual gift.
