Artist Kelly O’Briant’s exhibition Atmosphere: Material and Echoes explores the presence of ideas that have no objective or measurable characteristics: echoes that remain long after a physical entity is no longer here, or forces we sense are affecting us but can’t quite name. She makes use of digital processes of scanning, 3D modeling, and printing to consider space and the realness of things. Additionally, her work explores the material and process of ceramics, coiling and pinching the forms she creates to give volume and mass to her thoughts.
