So many ways for students to be involved at the MCA...

Whether you are watching a visiting artist demonstrate their techniques, working the lights in a theatre department production, part of one of E&H's many music ensembles, hosting your own radio show or just a member of the audience, the MCA has something for YOU!

Many opportunities are available to students to participate in music ensembles and theatre productions. Both majors and non-majors are encouraged to audition at the start of every semester. Senior art majors give exhibitions under the guidance of faculty to showcase their work. Concerts, play performances, and exhibitions are always well attended by members of the College and surrounding communities. You can even host your own radio show on 90.7 WEHC.

All MCA events are FREE to students. E&H students receive one complimentary ticket to each MCA and departmental events. Students must claim their ticket in person at the MCA Box Office with their E&H ID. Tickets will be available three weeks before each event. MCA guest artists hold in-class demonstrations and master classes showing students their creative process and provide a hands-on experience with their medium. Engagement events have included master classes with professional dancers and artistic directors, question-and-answer sessions, and talks about creativity and technology in the arts. Students can be involved in workshops, instrument demonstrations, artwork critiques, and professional development exercises.
