An Abingdon resident with extensive experience in sales management and marketing has been named to the advancement staff at Emory & Henry College.
Larry Foster joins the E&H Office of Institutional Advancement as senior advancement associate. In that role he is responsible for developing relationships on behalf of the College with alumni and friends and securing significant philanthropic support from individuals and organizations for the institution.
Prior to joining the E&H advancement staff, Foster worked as a sales manager for LifeTime Composites, a manufacturer of non-wood composite products. Before that he worked for seven years in sales and marketing for Royal Group, a vinyl-based building materials division of Georgia Gulf Corporation.
Foster graduated from Emory & Henry with degrees in business management and economics.

Foster is a member of the E&H Class of 1981. He is married to Jo Ann Leonard Foster, a member of the E&H Class of 1980. They have two sons, Justin Foster (Class of 2007) and Jared Foster, an E&H sophomore, and a daughter, Hannah Foster (Class of 2013).
