Emory & Henry College has been selected as a top military-friendly school and has earned placement in the 2014 Guide to Military-Friendly Colleges & Universities, a list featured in the December issue of Military Advanced Education. This designation as a top military-friendly school is an endorsement of the hard work the College has applied to helping veterans begin or complete their higher education goals.

A scholarship fund honoring Leota Coe Diggs and Eugene Edwin “Jack” Diggs has been established at Emory & Henry by the daughter and son-in-law of the couple. Scholarships from the fund will be awarded annually to any qualified undergraduate E&H student, first-year or above, who demonstrates financial need. Preference for awarding the scholarship will be given in the following order: students majoring in mathematic; students involved in community service; any qualified undergraduate E&H student.
