Mike Young, E&H '86, was a standout basketball player during his tenure at Emory & Henry, but he is really making his mark as a coach. Mike is the head basketball coach at Wofford University in Spartanburg, SC, and his team just beat Appalachian State to win the Southern Conference title.

Because, as fate would have it, after a long career in education, she finds herself working for the local NPR station in Park City, Utah.

Emily studied creative writing and art at Emory & Henry, earned a BFA from the School of the Art Institute of Chicago, and earned a master’s degree in folklore from UNC-Chapel Hill – and in the process she managed to find a niche in the world of food and academia that is now feeding her career.
