Chad Parker is entering his first year as an Assistant Athletic Trainer at Emory & Henry College. Parker comes to E&H after spending the last 13 months as a Graduate Assistant Athletic Trainer at East Stroudsburg University in Pennsylvania.

This year, Parker will work with the women’s soccer, men’s and women’s cross country, men’s basketball and baseball teams.

Parker has experience with many different sports including football, soccer, basketball, softball, track and field, and hockey. He was also a senior medical advisor during the Senior World Cup Biathlon in 2011. He also taught kinesiology while working as an Athletic Training intern and Assistant Dormitory Head at Bridgton Academy in North Bridgton, Maine.

A native of Truro, Nova Scotia, Canada, Parker holds a Bachelor of Science in Athletic Training from the University of Maine at Presque Isle, which he earned in May of 2011. He was also a four-year letter winner on the Owls’ soccer team.

Parker’s fiancé, Liz, is an athletic trainer at Cherokee High School in Rogersville, Tennessee. The couple also has a dog named Clara and a cat named Boots.
