I work in the Department of Foreign Languages. Before coming to this university, I studied at the University of Western Ontario. I am interested in the Languages in Contact area focused on the Acquisition of Spanish as a Second Language and Early Bilingualism. My research concentrates in the Acquisition of Spanish by Nahuatl speakers, an indigenous language spoken in Mexico.
